Gary Alan Stewart, 77, moved from North Versailles to Heaven on Saturday, September 17, 2022. His wife Jean Fritz Stewart, son David, daughter-in-love Paula, and granddaughter Samantha spent his last moments on earth with him. Waiting to greet him, his father David Harding Stewart, mother Harriet Ruth Walmsley Stewart, brother Alan, and sister Brenda.
Gary was retired in body but not in spirit from Cornerstone TeleVision, where he delighted in designing electronic systems, climbing towers, and expanding the reach of the broadcast ministry.
He was an active member, and former secretary of the board, of Pitcairn Assembly of God. Teaching the Biblical Worldview Sunday School Class was his joy and passion. Always studying and learning, he had a passion for Truth.
He was a board member and former vice president of the West Virginia Organization of Homeowners Associations. As a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, he edited the Pittsburgh chapter newsletter for many years. He served in South Korea as a member of the U.S. Army Signal Corps.
Family and friends will be received Friday, September 23, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Jobe Funeral Home, 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville, PA (412-856-4747).
