David R. Whiteman, DMD

David R. Whiteman, DMD, age 68 of Delmont, passed away in his home on Friday, May 26, 2023. David was born on April 27, 1955 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Richard and M. Marie (Serbernak) Whiteman. David practiced dentistry starting in 1980, opening a practice in Delmont, which he called his home, in 1984. He forged countless cherished friendships from his dental chair. He was a loving husband, dedicated father, and loyal friend. David was a member of Cornerstone Ministries and was a devoted student of the Bible. He enjoyed carpentry and outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and backyard lumberjacking. He loved the ocean, sailing, and windsurfing. He will be missed for his unwavering optimism, compassionate spirit, and hearty laugh. David is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly (Fleming) Whiteman; four loving children, Daniel (wife Kelsey) Whiteman, Christine (husband Steven) Morgan, Nicholas Whiteman, and Suzanne Whiteman; two adored grandchildren, Alaina and Grant Morgan; his brother, Ronald (wife Karen) Whiteman; and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to a reception on Wednesday, May 31 from 2 to 7 PM at Dr. Whiteman's dental practice, 118 Whiteman Lane, Delmont. Additional visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1 from 10 AM until the time of memorial service at 11 AM at Cornerstone Ministries. All are welcome to attend.
