Betty Jean (Kirkpatrick) Hillman
Age 96 of Plum Borough, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2021. Beloved wife of the late James E. Hillman. Loving mother of Catherine Hillman and the late Linda Hillman. Devoted grandmother of Becky (Bill) Anthony. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, A.J. and Gail M. (Owen) Kirkpatrick; sister, Mary Jane Dausch; and brother, Thomas Kirkpatrick. Betty made many great friends at Holiday Park United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Church Choir, Wednesday morning Bible study, and volunteered with the Plum Food Pantry. She also volunteered at the Plum Meals on Wheels. A special thank you to Jennifer Woolslayer who started as a helper to Betty and became a very dear friend. Family and friends will be received Monday, March 1st from 3-6 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Masks are required upon entry and social distancing will be observed. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 2nd at 10 a.m. at Holiday Park United Methodist Church. (Everyone please meet at church) Burial will be at Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, VA at a later date.
