Bertha L. Sandrick, 97, of Penn Township, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at her residence in the William Penn Senior Suites. She was born on January 28, 1924 in North Huntingdon, to the late William and Anna (Paulisick) Leger. Bertha was a bookkeeper for Penn Trafford School District for over 35 years prior to her retirement. She was also a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church. Bertha is survived by her three loving children, Elinore (husband Edward) McKita, Mary (husband Samuel) Barton, and William (wife Janie) Sandrick; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul J. Sandrick; a grandson, Dr. Kristin Barton; and her sister, Eleanor Leger Sandrick. Friends will be received Thursday, February 25 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721. Masks are required upon entry and social distancing will be observed. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 26 at 11:00 AM at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Harrison City, with Father Michael P. Sikon, officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
