Anna Mae Martin, award-winning local artist, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the age of 99 years. Daughter of the late Casper and Margaret Martin of Turtle Creek, sister of the late Dominic, George (Teresa), Joseph, John (Marjorie), Louise Kirkpatrick, Margaret Martin and Bettye (Jack) Bendall. Anna Mae, trained as a graphic artist, delighted people with her artwork and needlework. She lived most of her life in Wilkinsburg and Turtle Creek and will be dearly missed by her nephews, John (Stephania), Gary (Linda), George (Arlyn - deceased), John (Deanna), and Joe (Sheila) and many great nieces and nephews and friends. An ardent animal lover, her many Westies and cats were very dear to her. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021, from 10- 11 am, with a celebration of her life immediately following at the Jobe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (Monroeville/Plum Chapel) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Per CDC guidelines, masks and social distancing will be observed. Burial at the Church Hill Cemetery will be private.
