Gilbert C. McDonald, 70, of Salem Township, died on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born on October 12, 1949 in Bainbridge, GA, to the late Eldridge and Agnes (Alday) McDonald. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Ann Bramhall, and three brothers. Gil was a US Navy Vietnam veteran and was a member of Slickville American Legion. He retired from FedEx in November 2015 after many years of service. Gil is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Darryl L. Taylor-McDonald; three children, Denise Lynn Bramhall of CA, Ronald Calvin Bramhall II of Ennis, TX, and Marcus (Holly) McDonald of Goldvein, VA; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements entrusted to Bash-Nied-Jobe Funeral Home, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381.
