Marie E. Horton (Ethel Marie Wheeler), age 102, of Monroeville and most recently lived in Export with her daughter, passed away on January 7, 2019. Born April 21, 1916 in Kalvesta, KS, to the late Leslie and Clara Wheeler. Wife of the late Wayne P. Horton, whom she married on October 2, 1938; mother of Alice (Rev. William) Saxman, Allen (Shirley) Horton, Lois (Dave Smith) Cecil, Leslie (Barbara) Horton, and Paul Horton, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren (one deceased), and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was a lifetime member of McMasters United Methodist Church of Turtle Creek. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, playing the organ, and singing hymns. She would have turned 103 in 15 weeks.
