Dolores Ann ‘Deo’ Seigh (Peretic)
It was a joyous day as family gathered around when Dolores began her journey to heaven to be welcomed by her Heavenly Father and her son David. On January 8th heaven rejoiced as she heard the words “Well done thou good and faithful servant”. Dolores married her 8th grade sweetheart from Rankin High School, John Eugene ‘Jack’ Seigh, 65 years ago on April 4th, 1953. She was the mother of the late beloved son, David John Seigh. She is preceded in death by her parents, Isadore and Caroline (Grgich) Peretic, brothers, Steve, Robert, and Edward "Sonny" Peretic, and sister Helen "Honey" Vucic; Grandmother to Caleb (Kayla), Ashlyn, and Elijah Seigh. Great Grandmother to Liam Seigh; Sister of Betty (Gene) Bender. To her several nieces and nephews, she was lovingly known as Aunt Deo. She would often invite her nieces and nephews over to her house to play board games and enjoy family nights. There was never a dull moment with Deo around. Her quick-witted humor and entertaining personality had everyone laughing when she spent time at family functions. She was always the one playing pranks and equally uplifting to those in need. She was a longtime member of the Free Gospel Church in Braddock where she was very active as a Sunday school teacher and also sang with her two sisters in the choir. She volunteered for 10 years at Independence Court as she provided spiritual guidance and comfort for those in need. Friends will be received Friday 4-7 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) corner of (445) Beatty Rd. and 48 North, Monroeville (412-856-4747) where services will be Saturday, 10 AM. Interment will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Free Gospel Missions, Mike and LuAnn Petit, 117 Wallace Drive, Monroeville, PA 15146. www.jobefuneralhome.com.
